One afternoon I was busy working when someone asked me if her english is bad. I type fast, sometimes too fast that it seemed to skip brain processing. So without giving much thought, I typed “yes” I’m not very good in english, I know, but I know bad english when I read one.

After which she ranted how her relatives criticized her blog. And how she hated them. I do not regret telling her the truth. (Since she blogs rarely, I was even tempted to offer to correct her entries before she publishes only bec I want to help her.)

Anyway, just the other day, I was asked by one immature person if she is indeed immature. Geez why am I always asked to tell the sad truth? Instead I asked her why she suddenly wanted to know. Good thing that after hearing her story, I realized it wasn’t a case of immaturity. (and that she doesn’t read my blogs hahaha)

So, how do you tell an immature person she is immature? Seems to me that after you do, you’re in for some door slamming, feet stomping and high-pitched talking. No, thanks.

David Cook! Yup, he’s the new American Idol. I’d say, he deserves to win! And I’m sure his album (once he makes one) will sell.

I love blogging. It’s just that I’m swamped with work. Plus BG’s yaya is on vacation for 3 weeks. So I’m juggling between work and motherhood. I didn’t even twitter today.

Guess what? I’m still working at this hour! Tsk, tsk.

I’ll just get myself adjusted then I’ll be blogging and bloghop again like crazy. After all, I am bloggerhappy.

1. Finish work. I’ve started work late today because I knew that I need to be working till tomorrow morning. Geez!
2. Rest. And feel the fresh bed sheets that have gotten cold from the “bed” weather.
3. Party. Uhm, not a drink-like-crazy party but a very conservative reunion with hubby’s relatives. Now I better think of something to wear besides shorts.
4. Scrap. Got some kits that haven’t been used. Still in need of pictures to scrap. I should go out of the house more often. Tsk, tsk. (Too bad I missed going to our team outing in Fontana today. Still not allowed to go on long drives.)

I honestly think I’ve been twittering too much. Why? ‘Coz I can’t think of anything to write today that I haven’t twitted. (Is there such a word? If you’re on twitter, you’d say yes! Hahaha)

Ok, so it’s David vs. David next week on the American Idol. I would definitely not miss that! See, David A. has a very good voice. But I think he will need much more than his voice to sell. I don’t know maybe he’s too young, or too nice-looking. Not sure why.

Between the two, my bet is David C. He has the voice, the style and the charm. I especially love his version of “Hello” (by Lionel Ritchie)

But I was told that David C could be gay. So I googled it. And I’m still confused if he is.
Anyway, I don’t care. I still think he deserves to win this season.

I went back to work yesterday but the actual work (bulk of it) came pouring in today. Parallel running in deployment and production. *sigh* Honestly, I miss doing this so I sort of welcome it as a challenge. But please not too much of it.

I think my body isn’t used to stress anymore. After our busy weekend, my whole body was aching, and some zits started showing up my face. I was hoping for a good massage but hubby reminded me I am not allowed to have a massage yet. I am still looking for a good scar-erasing cream for my stitch (from my gall bladder removal operation).

Will have to learn how to deal with stress again. Any tips?

I’m off to check online courses now. I’ve been meaning to get a second degree.

Everytime I log in, I am prompted that I can now upgrade my WP. Lazy that I am, I’ve ignored it for 2 version upgrades. I was simply too lazy to back up my files. This morning, Vannie was asking me about the upgrade and I had no idea what to answer so I decided to upgrade both my blogs. I could have at least a decent answer to anyone who will ask again.

I upgraded berryscrappy first just to be on the safe side. I’m more willing to give my scrap blog than this blog. Hahaha.

I encountered “Database Upgrade Required” error during the WP upgrade. I thought to myself that geez I’ve screwed up as I have predicted. So I scanned the wp support forum and all of which (that I cared to check) were still unresolved. I decided to check the upgrade.php file. I did something that seems logical. I changed ‘url’ to ‘http://berryscrappy.com‘ and tried reloading the page. Well, it worked for me. So I posted what I did on the forum. Hope it helps others too. Although I’m still uncertain that this is the right solution.

I upgraded this blog next. And I now receive comment moderation emails, which for reason I still do not know I do not receive since I got my (bloggerhappy) domain. I plan to install the comment responder plugin soon. All right!

As much as I blog and surf the net, I am not fit to work yet.

First, I face the laptop only if I have rested long enough and only when I feel like doing so. Not when I needed to. Second, I face the laptop for a maximum of 2 hours straight. I rest in intervals. Not more than 8 hours straight. Third, I face the laptop letting my mind wander where it strays. Not forcing myself to think.

And believe me, I am a happy smiling person. But don’t assume I can take all the stress just because.

Besides, my doctor said another three weeks bed rest. So, chill!
