great Monday

Wow look at the time, it’s almost 6pm! I’ll be waiting for hubby to come over and fetch me. (He’ll leave his office at 6pm too.) This day is so good! I’m so happy! There were no major issues at work. I have finished doing some pending work. I was able to submit the list of extra time rendered (read: OT/extra money hehehe) and at the same time, I have blogged today.

What a great Monday! :)

I guess it’s a good time to discuss with hubby about this online college degree that I want to enrol too. Who knows? I could get lucky.

hubby’s upcoming birthday

Hubby’s birthday is fast approaching. I’m still thinking of a nice gift for him. If only we both have the luxury of time, I’ll opt to have a week-long vacation with him. A romantic getaway with the husband. But since we are both busy, I might just spend the day with him, give him a nice massage while wearing a nice Shirley of Hollywood lingerie. Hahaha. Don’t underestimate the power of a lingerie. ;)

But seriously, we might have another get-together dinner at home. And knowing hubby, he’d be happy to have his relatives (especially his cousins) and friends to come over and get drunk! So now, my problem again, like with the other parties at home, is what to include in the menu. Oh well, I still have 4 weeks to think about it. :)

reality bites

Can you believe the price of gas these days? It is so high that even one millionaire preferred to ride the public trains instead of riding his Mercedes Benz. According to him, as reported in the local news, it is no longer practical for him to bring a car to the company.

As expected, this has affected prices of other necessities. Every bit of food is vital. No more leftovers in the kitchen sinks. Everyone is expected to “tighten the belt”. But how about the people who have tightened the belt that there’s no more room for more tightening?

As the poor rants, “the rich becomes richer, the poor becomes poorer.” They have lost trust in the government. No wonder a lot of parents condition their kids to work abroad after graduation to help augment the family budget, and as they say, save them from poverty.

And to these people, who never mind the risks of living outside of their comfort zone, for the best interest of their loved ones, Cheers to you!

feeling positive

I have a feeling that I’d be happier with my work this week as compared to last week. Today is a good start. Hopefully next week, everything will be perfect and I’d be having my rest days like I used to.

Plus, BG is getting better now. In fact, if she’s not taking prescribed meds, she’s back to normal.

Ok now, back to work. ;)
