We checked out the all new Honda City yesterday. Hubby couldn’t resist the temptation. There were free hotdogs, fries and donuts. BG had fun at their play area while eating fries. And I was surprised to see a college acquaintance as one of the agents. He explained to hubby the technical specifications of the car. Hubby had to do a test drive and was smiling after. We asked for a quotation and filled in the pre-approval form.

My mind is now filled with computations. It’s not like we are just buying printers. It’s a new car! But then again, we got back to reality and remembered our priorities this year.

Probably on Saturday or Sunday, but not today, I will blog. I fell asleep at 4am this morning. I was actually monitoring two things. One work-related, and another, well, additional-income-generating. I was checking the best online college courses. I want to enrol for a second degree. And I had to wake up at 5:30am just to check if what I’ve ran at 4am finished successfully and I had to trigger another run.

I woke up at 11am feeling I didn’t sleep a wink. Weird. And then I saw an email informing me that the process that I last ran failed. Tsk, tsk.

Does throwing a laptop on the ground (then stomping on it) count as insanity? I just feel…. like a zombie.

I love wearing shorts. So any signs of varicose veins on my legs would disappoint me. My mom taught me the use of leg wedge pillows in relieving tension from the legs and feet at the end of the day. It is very comfortable to use. While this wedge pillow is opened, each leg is placed (and therefore elevated) on top of each side to promote better circulation.

I have no problem using the 50mm lens. I achieve the bokeh shots that I love. What I find as a challenge is using the lens kit 18-55mm. I can’t exactly pinpoint where and what my problem is.

This coming Saturday, we are going to check one resort for hubby’s team building. I plan to bring both lens and take pictures using both. I will post them somewhere (probably Flickr) and ask friends their opinion. And I’ll bring our old p&s so I could shoot a video too.

The trouble with telling me that I’ve lost weight is I tend to celebrate and eat! Last Sunday, we went to my parents’ place just after lunch. My sister, who lives on the other side of the Metro, visited too with her husband. I think it’s been two or three weeks since we last saw each other. She complimented me saying that I’ve obviously lost some weight. Of course, I was all smiles.

Later last night, we met up with friends. I just thought I could celebrate a little. I ate a lot. And I think till today, I haven’t stopped celebrating. U-oh! I better take some best diet pills so I could attain my “ideal weight” in time for summer.

There was a commotion this morning over at Twitter. Yen sold some of her hardly (and never been) used bags, shoes and necklaces. I fell in love with two items that she’s selling. But I was holding off because I want to stick to my budget.

But the Coach bag was too tempting. (I prefer Coach over LV because it fits my lifestyle more.) The bag was being offered at a good price. So I whipped out my calculator and started computing and “adjusting” and yes it’s possible. I had to consult hubby first, of course. I took picture of the item (from her Flickr) and sent MMS to my hubby. Just then, the item was sold to another Bebot, Caryl. Well, she saved me from giving in to the temptation.

By now, you have probably read (many times) that we are going away this summer with four couple friends. Obviously I’m so excited about it. And if another trip pushes through, we are going away sometime in October with hubby’s family.

Then just last week, my sister showed me this site of a splendid (I am so tempted to type magnificent) resort. When I first saw it, I just thought that it is an ultimate haven for photographers (amateur and professional alike).

So I started computing for flights and lodging, and of course, I researched for the best months to go there. Another consideration is that my sister will be in Belgium from next month till June. So she’ll be back in the rainy season, not really nice to go swimming. Hmm, it looks like we have to wait till next year for this one.

Late last year, just for kicks, three officemates submitted their profiles (with photos) to the Weather Tropa (in English: group of friends) of the Week portion of Inquirer Libre, a free newspaper distributed in the stations of Light Railway Transits 1 and 2, the Metro Railway Transit, and some select McDonalds branches.

After a week, they received a call for a photo shoot schedule. And today, it came out! Look!

You probably heard about the ZestAir plane crashed in the Caticlan airport. I got the chills when I heard about it because just recently, hubby forwarded an email to me. It is the ZestAir promo to Boracay and the rates are really affordable with a tie-up to a new Triple A resort, the Patio Pacific. Apparently, their team was planning a trip to Boracay and had that pushed through, hubby will of course bring me and BG along to that trip.

The only reason that trip didn’t push through was that they were too many that they couldn’t agree on the dates. Whew! Good thing huh?
