I miss the smell of babies

Today, we visited our team mate who just gave birth. It made me miss holding a newborn. I remember when our daughter was just a little baby, sleeping soundly in her Bob stroller while hubby and I leisurely wander around the mall. I sort of miss the smell of a newborn too.

But later tonight, after doing some accounting of the family monthly expenses, I suddenly changed my mind. I realized that I do not miss holding a newborn at all!

I guess I’ll just have to wait for my sister or sister-in-law to have theirs. I’m sure after just a week of sleepless nights, the new mom would gladly allow me to hold her baby for her. ;)

my gift

Your Gift is Imagination

You are constantly dreaming. You are always thinking about what could be.
You love to express yourself in many ways. You have a way with words and tell vivid stories.

You love to be amused. You are good entertaining yourself, and other people find you hilarious.
You’re the type of person who finds staying happy easy. There’s always fun to be had!

Happy with the results. Just perfect for my hobbies. Don’t you agree. :P

Gucci sale vs. p&s digicam

I have been looking for Gucci bags on sale. I want to buy one, at least this year. But when I learned of the ongoing sale, I couldn’t decide if I should part with my budget for a point-and-shoot digicam.

Someone actually told me she was shocked how low the prices of the bags have become. According to her, it would be wise to grab the chance. She couldn’t quite understand why I can’t simply choose the bag over the digicam when I already own a DSLR.

I don’t know! I guess it’s called passion. :P

in the mood

It’s my first day to be nanny-less today, and still 8 more days to go. Luckily, my manager and team lead agreed that I can work from home this week.

Since it’s a Monday plus first working day of the month, even as much as I’d like to juggle between cleaning some light fixtures and working on my laptop, I have no choice but to concentrate on my work. Good thing, Mikee is now big enough to play on her own.

Still, I can’t help but stop working to take her picture when I told her to pose and she did. I ran back to our room to get my camera. She did the pose several times knowing I’m taking pictures. Finally! :)

This was a spur of the moment thing which explains her messy hair.
I taught her to look at her upper left to look like she’s thinking of a good lie.
