the gamer in him.

Hubby is a gamer. One shouldn’t be surprised that he is as both his parents are gamers too. Be it online or offline, laptop or phone, Wii or playstation, he loves them all. So if we find gamestop coupons, we are sure to use them. (I just discovered coupon’ing, and started enjoying it.)

Don’t get me wrong. He plays physically too. He plays basketball, bowling and billiards too. So yes, any type of game can give him the adrenaline rush.

Anyway, true to his nature. He uses this as his iPhone case.

It’s just so him! :D

Shabu-Shabu + Grill

Two weeks ago, hubby started craving for Tong Yang Hot Pot. But we decided we can just go on the following weekend. We totally forgot about it, so while browsing for trucking gps systems, we were surprise that our friends came to our place inviting us to the shabu-shabu place. They remembered. :)

We went to its Quezon Avenue branch. It was 5 years ago when we last visited the place. And I’m surprised that the place still looked, well, the same. To be honest, I dreaded going back because I knew I’d smell like food after (and we planned on catching a movie later that night).

But anyway, we still went ahead. And boy was I happy we did. The different sea foods and the egg sauce? My fave! Eat (and drink) all you can, at that! We went there Saturday dinner so it was P585 per head.

And then, they brought in the crabs.

Burp!

secured.

While my friend and I debate on the best insurance comparing life rates, we still agree on one thing, it is practical to get one for security and peace of mind. Same goes to cars. I remember one time that one owner-type jeep hit our car. The driver instinctively got down to check the damage. But he suddenly went back to his jeep and simply drove away. Good thing I got his plate number. So the insurance company will be the one running after them.

just chillin’

Finally, my training has finished and we took the exam. I’m a bit worried about the results but I don’t really like to torture myself for 5 days so I’m just leaving it to my fate if I’ll pass or not. Still, I admit I was feeling agitated so when hubby asked me if I want to join them for a drink, I agreed. I didn’t drink though. My mommy “duties” don’t allow such. But I’ll be honest, I miss drinking with friends, and the “balancing of steps” few hours and the alcohol detox the day after. Just like in college. Yeah. I’m starting to feel that I’ve come to that age that it’s no longer acceptable to be careless. Few drinks would be fine but not too much that I end up unintentionally zigzagging later.
