My sister in law, who is in college, was asking me about best online degrees. I told her that it’s not a bad idea but better ask her parents first about it. Then she went out and when she came back, she handed this to my daughter.

My daughter wore a yellow shirt paired with a checkered skirt (in purple, aqua and yellow). With socks on, she tried the shoes on. I asked her to walk but she refused. She says it hurts her feet. Aaaaw.

When friends ask me about my work, I sort of advertise the company I work for. I was proud of the benefits that we, employees, used to get. Sadly, one by one, the benefits were scrapped. I still send my friends’ resumes to the sharepoint but I tell them some of the benefits that I used to be proud of no longer exist.

I have expressed my desire to transfer to another company, and a friend was a bit shocked about it. She said that it has been her impression that I am “loyal” to this company. So what has been stopping me? Work from home days, that is all. It gives me enough time to see my daughter, and my daughter to see me. I know people keep saying it’s the quality not the quantity. But the kisses and hugs from her for no reason are quite addictive.

BG has received her Christmas wish from her auntie-la Chito: Baby Alive! When asked what her baby doll name is, she’d say “Alice” which I have no idea where she got.

I’d like to share the experience of our aunt while buying the said doll. Upon seeing BG’s shout-out at Facebook (more like my shout out for my husband), she promised she’ll be the one to buy the doll for her one and only grandchild. But upon checking the price before Christmas, she decided she’d wait for the after-holiday sale.

Sale around her place was last Dec 28th so she tried looking for the doll. Unfortunately, no more stock was available. She asked the saleslady where she could buy the doll, and found out that one store near her place still have stocks. Since it was late, she decided to buy the following day.

Early in the morning, she went to the store and saw that there were only two available dolls with a 50% discount sticker. But since it was a day after the sale, the POS systems read its full price, instead of the discounted one. She complained to the cashier that the stickers were confusing for the customers. With that, they gave her the discount.

When she looked back at the last doll, the salesmen were removing the discount sticker.

Today the daughter and I chatted with the husband. He was missing our daughter so much that he requested to see her using the webcam. But just in time that BG started smiling (with a little bit of dancing) in front of the webcam, my sister and brother-in-law came to fetch us. We were going to my parents’ house. So the chat was cut short.

When we arrived our parents’ house, I looked for their webcam. I was told though that the computer had been reformatted, deleting the driver for their webcam (which wasn’t plug-and-play) so my brother had to look for the driver installer. While waiting for that to be installed, the husband shared and explained the concept of virtualization services. He had been reading about it.

At first, BG didn’t want to go in front of the computer and webcam when she was just hearing her daddy call her. Maybe, she found it weird that she hasn’t seen her daddy for a long time, and she had to talk to him on the computer. She only got excited when her daddy started sharing to view his webcam as well. (He was installing too that time.) She was so happy to see her daddy!

Aaaw, don’t worry, BG. Just two more weeks to go…

Our auntie Dina came to visit. We agreed to meet her last Saturday for dinner after my appointment with a Plano cosmetic dentist. It was BG’s first time to meet her. Expectedly, BG was shy, a little on the edge of being a snub. But her eyes widen when she received a huge Tinker Bell craft set. Funny because I saw she was a bit overwhelmed by it, she didn’t know what she’ll do. All she knew she wanted to open it as soon as possible. Mommy was such a kill joy told her she had to wait till she gets home.

But she got doubly excited when she saw her auntie-la (short for auntie and lola) Dina gave her an Ariel doll.

You can’t blame her to be so excited. Wouldn’t you be if you just receive this?
