I hate taking antibiotics.

With an eye infection and swollen lymph node, I’ve been taking 625mg of antibiotic. What I hate about taking antibiotics is that it makes me feel like vomiting all the time. In order to avoid throwing up, I eat around 5-6 times a day, even at the slightest pang of hunger. Now I wonder what is three best dfiet pill on the market. Maybe I can start worrying about weight gain after my infection is gone, and immune system is back on track.

pastel pallette

As much as I want to get pregnant again, I keep thinking how to get rid of belly fat after giving birth. But of course, the motivations outnumber the worries. I previously expressed that I want a baby boy next time but I’ve changed my mind when I started enjoying seeing mommies with their little girls in tow at the mall. Now I won’t mind if it would be a boy or a girl, as long as I get pregnant… soon!

Speaking of the mall, I was at the mall earlier for my eye checkup at Healthway, and checked new arrivals at Twilo. (I had no plans of shopping today as I always bring my daughter with me if I want to buy clothes for her. I’m not good at sizes, you know.) Not only do I love their collection but love the interior of the store too, later found out that it was by interior designer Frenjick Quesada. The store looks like a scrap kit collection, with coordinating colors and patterns.

Nice, isn’t it?

my very first sty

While we were in my parents’ place, we had a home-service massage. A massage was supposed to be relaxing but everytime I was about to fall asleep, my sister, my mom or my daughter will talk. We were talking about home stuff such as an Amish fireplace among others.

Anyway, my mom noticed the sty on my eye, which I actually thought isn’t that noticeable. Yeah it is very itchy but I can’t scratch it because it hurts. My sister in law recommends to pull the eyelash that is standing on the middle of the sty (where the white bubble is) but I checked and I saw 4 eyelashes right smacked on the thing. So do I pull off 4?

Seriously, I was told to put warm compress on it, 3-5x a day. It should be gone in 3 days. Wish me luck!

old photos

I was backing up some old photos of the family, and I realized we have at least 10 photos of us 3 together. That was quite comforting. You see, I thought we only have just two, ok maybe max of 4, family photos, which is why there’s just one that was uploaded to my Facebook album. I’m planning to upload more this weekend.

Why is it that everytime I look at my old photos, it makes me feel like I was thin, those days when I used to think I was fat? It’s actually nice to see old photos of me when I was 20 pounds lighter. I remember what I read on www.weightlossdietpills.com that it’s possible to go back to my pre-marriage weight. Still, I miss those days when I can eat anything without worrying about weight gain. It’s that one thing that youth conveniently gets away with.

could it be?

I have a new wrinkle cream. My old one irritated my neck. The summer heat must have a reaction to its ingredients, and my neck was the unlucky victim.

Speaking of neck, I suddenly remember this titanium necklace I’ve been wearing. I am hoping it would help lessen my migraine attacks. Well, so far so good. I had one mild migraine attack, just last Friday but I think I got it from skipping meals. That, or just another case of blank pill. You know, blank pill, a pill used by doctors with no content at all but patient feeling better thinking they’ve taken medicine. ;)

slowly but still not so surely

Good news for me! I was able to shed off 2 (of the many) unwanted pounds for the past week. Those who haven’t seen me since January wouldn’t notice any change as these are the extra weight that I gained gradually for the past two months. Well, those who see me regularly won’t either, as I still look overweight compared to last year. In fact, my face and body still look bloated.

I wonder if I should accept the fact that I need exercise at this age. Well, I kind of miss the dip station and aero dance class anyway. But the thing is, I have no time for it anymore.

The least that I can do is avoid fatty foods and avoid eating in between meals. Not bad huh? Hahaha.

my coffee addiction

I was browsing this site www.bestmultivitamin.org for I felt I need to change my food, my vitamins and even my physical activity and routines if I really want to lose weight but still stay healthy. It seems that my no-rice diet is a major failure. I’m thinking I should stop drinking softdrinks as well. Actually I am more of a coffee drinker than colas. Coffee, I could not give up yet as my migraine will be triggered once I miss my morning cup of coffee. So, goodbye cola.

not so much weight gain.

I have successfully avoided rice for more than 2 weeks now. I honestly do not see any weight loss, but I’m quite happy that even consuming so much pasta and cake, among others, I do not feel as bloated as I know I should be.

Still, getting into a regimen, putting a fitness equipment to good use, wouldn’t hurt. At this age, I know I need to get into shape. The husband knows too, as he now regularly goes to gym near our place. If only I have the same motivation as he has.

For now, I’ll just stick to this no-rice diet. One step at a time, perhaps.

family reunion: simplified

Aaw, the Disney movie themed get-together party we’ve been planning will be simplified. Good that it won’t be postponed but the theme was lifted. Since a relative is sick, and while her NC health insurance has been very helpful, it was decided that having a grand party will be inconsiderate of her situation.

The theme would have been costly. We will just go as we are, just like our previous reunions. Well, I’ll miss that supposed photo opp, but it’s fine. I’ll get to take shots of the smiles and hugs shared among relatives. That’s what matters.

lose a little

Being sick for two days, I wasn’t able to eat normally. I only had crackers once on the first day, and one complete meal on the second. Good thing that even if I’m better now, I still have no sweet cravings yet.

I did lose some weight but I still look the same. The last time I got sick, my face and arms got thinner leaving my healthy-looking tummy. I wonder how I could lose belly fat along with my arms and face whenever I lose weight. Of course, I’m talking about something that does not require one to go under the knife.

Let’s wait and see how long it would take for me to accept that exercise is an option. :p
