My sister in law, who is in college, was asking me about best online degrees. I told her that it’s not a bad idea but better ask her parents first about it. Then she went out and when she came back, she handed this to my daughter.

My daughter wore a yellow shirt paired with a checkered skirt (in purple, aqua and yellow). With socks on, she tried the shoes on. I asked her to walk but she refused. She says it hurts her feet. Aaaaw.

My brothers in law recently bought receipt printer in addition to their other printers. They are reviving their printing business. Well, not really reviving as this has a different business name. Printing but it’s a bit different to their previous one, tarpaulin printing. This time, they are embarking on a printing business that’s attractive to students. Their store is, after all, in front of a school. A photo printing and souvenir printing shop. Yay for me!

I love browsing the internet and windowshopping at the mall for home decorating ideas. I like observing how a certain bed matches with the tv mounts in a bedroom set up. Although sometimes, I get so inspired with all types of designs that I’m afraid I’d end up with a room looking in such a bad taste. It’s like when you’re trying to dress up that if you wear too much of the good stuff, you’d end up looking like a drag.

But there’s one self observation that is, I think, very relevant to planning an interior design, my wardrobe or even my scrapbooks. I love matching colors! It doesn’t have to be monocromatic, in fact, I prefer complimenting colors. I still won’t wear the orange, aqua and brown combo unless it’s a swimsuit though. Haha. But I’d consider the color combo on a bathroom or playroom.

Like clothing, matching prints can do or undo the look. For casual wear, I love wearing plain shirts and shorts while wearing chunky printed bangles. But for mixing and matching upholsteries, wall papers and throw pillows, I think the pattern distribution used in scrapbooking can do the trick. Mixing small and big patterns with (complimentary) solids, that is. Also, use smaller amounts of big patterns and more of the small and subtle patterns. The black&white pattern also tones down strong solid colors such as red, orange or turquoise.

Blogging from the Splash Mountain, and a bit sleepy, I squint at my teammate’s laptop while trying to browse for diamonds frames. Another team mate showed me hers and I want one for myself!

Speaking of Splash Mountain, I just want to share that I hate it!

Like I blogged last night, I’ve been looking forward to bringing our little girl to their kiddie activity area. In fact, I’ve asked my teammate, who’s also one of the organizers of this offsite to call them to ask if resort dorm is near the kiddie activity area. And they informed us that yes it is just walking distance.

Oh yes it is very near! BUT they didn’t inform us that it is CLOSED on weekdays!
FRUSTRATING!!! Argh!

And yes, the photos in their website are deceiving.

I am supposed to be sleeping now but still not finished packing our stuff for tomorrow’s offsite. Bringing sunscreen for the skin and another sunscreen for the hair. There’s sunscreen for the lips, right? I should buy that too. Haha. And oh yeah, better not forget my back acne treatment or it would be super uncomfortable at night.

I’m bringing our little girl with me. I saw this nice kiddie activity area from the venue’s website. I just hope I am not in any way fooled by that photo. Or I’d be very disappointed. It would be very hard to bring a toddler to an offsite so it better be worth it.

How I wish I could revamp my wardrobe, not only my casual outfits but my corporate outfits as well. I’m still hesitant though, hoping to shed the unwanted pounds before buying anything. I read that this hcg diet protocol can help lose weight as much as one pound per day. So yes, there’s hope. Haha.

I’m guessing more than half of my clothes in the closet do not fit me anymore. It’s high time to have an overhaul as I’m pretty sure by the time I get back in shape, the clothes will be out of style. Tsk tsk.

Just recently, clutch of our car had to be fixed. We had to pay 3700 pesos for that. We started thinking if we want to sell it, and buy a new one. I like the idea because I’d be pushing for an automatic this time so I can borrow it. It has new set of tires and mags, and recently renewed comprehensive auto insurance. We know someone who is very interested to buy it. It’s just that we’re not comfortable paying for a car every month, while paying for a new house which we plan to buy sometime this year.

Speaking of houses, I’ve been waiting for re-runs of Color Splash episodes over at the Lifestyle Channel. I’ve been seeing plugs of the show that it has an airtime (replays only) on Fridays around 5pm but was disappointed last week because the channel didn’t air it. Boo!

I know that I promised the husband I won’t be planning any of our family trips this year. And I think I am starting to regret that I did.

Friends have been around the continent for summer. I couldn’t help but admire their photos and wish I, with the husband and daughter, could get a taste of the culture and food too as they did. My aunt also asked my sister to post photos of their China trip way back in 2007. And one couple friend will be in a Mediterranean cruise. Wow, right? I’ve also been seeing these awesome Branson vacation packages.

Hmmm, it’s now only six months (and 1 week) to go before this year ends. Maybe I could wait before we go again for another family trip, and keep my promise.

Now that mother’s day has passed. It’s time to think of father’s day presents! Hahaha. Too early? I say not so.

After thinking for gifts on my father’s birthday and for Christmas every year, I think I’ve ran out of ideas. Well, he is a collector of chess sets, clocks, umbrellas and Rubik’s cube. His current addiction is the Sudoku but he has this digital Sudoku now. Oh, a book maybe? :p

Besides, I need to think of something to get for my husband too.

But aren’t we girls just too happy that guys are so easy to please?
