sacrifice a little.

I heard you can buy phentermine without prescription over the counter. A lot of people trying to lose weight and taking this would be happy to know that. Now I’m thinking can I buy Plasil without prescription as well? You see, I used to take that while I was pregnant with Mikee, because I was vomiting as much too. But now, my new O.B. didn’t like the idea of taking any unnecessary meds while pregnant, yes including Plasil. Argh!

gotcha!

Most mothers are reluctant to go back to work after months of maternity leave. For one, it is simply hard to be apart from someone who you carried for 9 months. But it is harder to leave one’s baby to another person who is not family such as nannies. Hearing and reading about bad nannies who hurt the kids/babies does not help either. No wonder a lot of mommies resort to nanny cams. In my opinion, I’d rather inform the nanny that a nanny cam is installed and that she is being monitored than spy on her and wait for something unpleasant to happen before telling her. Giving no change even for one unpleasant incident.

eyes at home

A pregnant friend is starting to worry about who will take care of her child after her maternity leave. She is contemplating on resigning, or well, retiring to take care of her child. I told her that they could make use of, not that I tried wireless cctv cameras in the market.

I remember an officemate telling me they just had to call a number to watch their baby real time. While I see a lot of “hidden camera” videos of nannies getting caught red handed, I think it’s in best interest of the child to inform the nanny that she is being recorded. This way, she will never attempt to do something unacceptable as opposed to “will not be doing it anymore after being caught”.

that photo better not deceiving

I am supposed to be sleeping now but still not finished packing our stuff for tomorrow’s offsite. Bringing sunscreen for the skin and another sunscreen for the hair. There’s sunscreen for the lips, right? I should buy that too. Haha. And oh yeah, better not forget my back acne treatment or it would be super uncomfortable at night.

I’m bringing our little girl with me. I saw this nice kiddie activity area from the venue’s website. I just hope I am not in any way fooled by that photo. Or I’d be very disappointed. It would be very hard to bring a toddler to an offsite so it better be worth it.

Active Fun – SM North Edsa is now open!

Today, my daughter (together with kids of friends) had a grand time playing at the newest branch of Active Fun located at the 3rd level of SM Annex.

The kids had fun swimming in the pool of balls, going up and down the padded steps and stairs, and sliding down the giant slides, while mommies had fun taking pictures paparazzo-style. These are just some of the many fun things for the kids in the place.

Wouldn’t it be nice to spend your kid’s birthday in such fun place?

Active Fun have several party packages for the perfect party with invitations, lootbags, cake and of course, unlimited play! Click on the photo below to view the packages.

Click on the thumbnail below to see a wide-angled view of the place. :)

More photos will be uploaded to my Facebook and Flickr soon. Stay tuned. ;)

I miss the smell of babies

Today, we visited our team mate who just gave birth. It made me miss holding a newborn. I remember when our daughter was just a little baby, sleeping soundly in her Bob stroller while hubby and I leisurely wander around the mall. I sort of miss the smell of a newborn too.

But later tonight, after doing some accounting of the family monthly expenses, I suddenly changed my mind. I realized that I do not miss holding a newborn at all!

I guess I’ll just have to wait for my sister or sister-in-law to have theirs. I’m sure after just a week of sleepless nights, the new mom would gladly allow me to hold her baby for her. ;)

baby gifts

Going to a shower party, baptismal party, or a first birthday party? Or you simply want something for your baby? Why don’t you buy baby gifts?

it runs in the family

Yesterday was yet another time to mingle with my equally beautiful cousins. (Yes, in spite of being ugly on those pictures, I still think I’m pretty hehehe) One cousin gave me a package of beauty products with Ephedrasil hardcore. This was because I once asked her what she has been using on her face because she looked radiant.

While two other cousins were the mothers of the two other flower girls in the entourage. Believe it or not, we didn’t agree on what we were to wear on the event but yesterday three of us were wearing purple. My reason for wearing purple was in case Mikee didn’t want to walk down the aisle I could accompany her without looking off (and still complementary to the wedding theme). It turned out, they were thinking of the same thing.

act now

Most moms, in my opinion, have some sort of sideline job to help augment the family budget. Maintaining the family’s financial health can be tricky. Sometimes you loan for money just to cover another debt. And then, before you know it, you are deep in debt.

I saw the Debt Free, LCC site which can help you get out of debt. They have debt elimination and wealth building system. Whether you have credit card, mortgage, auto or student loans debt, this company can build a plan to help you pay off your debt in few years. You may download your customized roadmap to being debt-free. Try them now.

early birds

On my way to our meet-up, I realized how early it was. Yes, it is Friday but it used to be that at that hour, I am likely to be still in bed. Meet-ups were scheduled usually at 8pm the earliest. But now that mommies were meeting up, it wasn’t a night out. It was lunch and coffee meet-up.

It turned out that I wasn’t the only one who have this observation. One mom related that once she went out with friends on a late night to be “in” and cool. But instead of “chillaxin”, she was yawning at 10pm.

Expectedly, at 6pm, everyone was in a hurry to leave. ;)
