Instagram privacy on Facebook

It used to be that when you share your Instagram photos on Facebook, only the photo can be viewed without the likes and comments of your fellow IGers. But that has changed for quite some time now. So for a time, I’ve stopped sharing most of my IG photos on Facebook. But now, I realized that we can customize who can see our IG posts.

Tried and tested. ;)

So I’m sharing how to set privacy of your Instagram posts on Facebook in case you don’t know yet. :)

Just go to “Account” tab.
On the drop down list, choose “Privacy Settings”.
Scroll down and look for “Apps and Websites”, click “edit settings”.
On the “Apps you use”, click “Edit settings”.
You will then be directed to a page with list of apps you use.
Look for Instagram. Click “Edit”.

You may now edit who can see your IG posts (especially easy if you’re using lists).

Note: this won’t work on your past IG posts. You have to set those manually.

share your vacation photos… real time.

While researching more about rv repair on the ipod, I received an email from my SIL recommending another app. She knows me very well and that I love taking photos and have no shame post processing them. And most people who know my interest also know I’ve been wanting to try lomography for the longest time. It’s just that I have no budget for it yet. Plus thinking of all the effort and EQ needed (patience to wait, I think you need to have 5 rolls of film before you can have them scanned to a CD at digiprint) makes me want to procrastinate even longer.

Anyway, as I was saying, er, typing/sharing, my SIL recommended a new app. It’s called Leme Camera. All I can say is, it is one amazing app! It has 9 “lomo” cams including my favorites: their version of the action sampler, super sampler and fisheye.

It works like Instagram where you share your photos with your friends. But what I do is also share the saved photos to my IG. ;) I also use their photo editor Leme Leme (from the same developer).

Coolness!
