Moonbay Marina Complex at night

Monday last week, the result of the board exams was released. My brother is now an architect! The entire family is so happy. And since we are staying at Moonbay Marina Villas last weekend with my aunts, uncles and cousins, my parents decided to treat everyone to dinner and a ‘night out’.

I was supposed to have a chat with my husband that night so I planned on going back to the villa soon after having dinner. But husband was having a hard time getting a good signal in Caramoan, we cancelled the planned web conference. Good because he’d be disappointed if I tell him that nobody brought web cameras with them, and I forgot mine. ;)

Before heading to Pier One that’s within Moonbay Marina Complex for dinner, I took a picture of the pool. Love how it looks at night but it was just too cold so nobody dared to swim.

On our way, I saw these cabanas. (And on our way back, saw a set of people sitting there while a waiter was taking their order of food and drinks)

Here’s how the beach looks like at night.

Honestly, it was hard to see the food while having dinner because it was too dark. I think we should have eaten dinner somewhere else, and just move to Pier One for the “night out” fun. That’s just me. I think the others didn’t mind. The older ones enjoyed dancing to a medley of Beatles Hits, and of modern Rock Chart Busters.

My daughter got sleepy in the middle of her dinner. You see, she woke up early and swam for 3 hours that afternoon so I was not so surprised that she wanted to rest early. So we had to go back to the villas, and missed the other performers, which according to the others, were so hilarious. It’s good to hear that my parents, aunts and uncles had a blast.

zoobic safari: animal muZOOeum

I have been wanting to go to the National Museum. Obviously, I’d like to take pictures of the building, and of course, the artifacts. But I still haven’t found the time to visit it. Come to think of it, I seemed to have problem managing my time as I haven’t visited my dermatologist to check if skin needs a wrinkle treatment.

Anyway, as I was saying regarding Zoobic Safari, the muZOOeum fell short with what I wanted in a museum. Maybe, I’m just not much into archaeology. Still, it was nice seeing that the zoo has one, and that it is something that the kids could learn from.

zoobic safari: serpentarium

I’m not really a fan of snakes. No matter how assuring the zoo people are, I still can’t bring myself to pose for a photo with a snake around me. I’d probably stiffen regardless of how much joint supplements I’d consumed to prepare for it. Although, I can do it in groups, like if there are many of us holding the snake with me somewhere in the middle away from the head.

But of course, not a lot of people are like me. Many are daring enough to even hold the snake’s head for a photo. That’s one of the many fun things one can do at Zoobic Safari.

For everybody else like me, we can be contented seeing the snakes inside their glassboxes. :)
